ABOUT THE JOB
Vessel located in Wilmington, North Carolina
As crew member, you will assist the Captain/Owner with dock lines, hose down exterior of boat, keep interior clean, and prepare simple lunches (usually sandwiches) on days at sea. Travel will be limited to the Eastern Seaboard and usually consist of day trips (including fishing off shore). Later in the summer, there might be opportunity for longer trips to Chesapeake Bay or Florida and the Bahamas.
No experience necessary. Captain will provide all necessary training. Must be a competent swimmer and not have a problem with seasickness in moderate seas. This job is a good start for someone interested in a career in boating. It offers fun, practical experience with boat handling, navigation and driving. Competitive salary ($13 to $20 per hour) and a flexible schedule. This is a part-time opportunity.
